I must be a complete thread killer
Everytime I reply to a thread, it goes dead. I always seem to be the last one to post and then no-one else bothers.

Don't'cha worry, Claire. It's cos we all spend so much time on there that every new post is found, replied to and left to rot for several days. You just get there a bit too late for the rest of us addicts.

Maybe I should delete all the responses and lock the thread to rub it in :)
Joking apart - threads can be a bit like that sometimes - usually they end when the problem is solved so it maybe that the help they needed has been received.

actually, I have been meaning to ask.... what's a mumper?
I quite like the expression 'muppet', but fancy a change now and again and thought 'mumper' would do the trick, but before I do, is it terribly rude?
Perhaps, it's a muppet in a jumper?
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I've always found that 'numpty' is a good alternative to 'muppet'
Claire B
23rd January 2006, 19:34
ahhh, but would a 'numpty' in a jumper be a 'numper'? :D
DuaneJackson

Possibly. But if so then a Mum in a jumper would be a mumper - which gives is the answer to your first question!
