Hi there,
I make handmade wedding stationery and I was wondering if there are any wedding planners on this forum that I could network with. We could refer or recommend our customers to each other. You can visit my website to see what I do and if anyone is interested in networking with me, pls pm me. I can send you samples of my designs so that you can see the quality of my work.

One site that you might find useful is www.hitched.co.uk - its a wedding forum and a lot of 'hitchers in business' as they call themselves go on there to offer advice etc.. - I used to make wedding stationery myself and found this an excellent source of orders (costs about £15 to advertise for a year) but have now scaled down to just handmade cards since the launch of my promotions company.

Hope that helps! :)

I recieved a sample from Blaze the other day RE: her wedding stationary and I have to say it's really professional.

Have you thought about going to the national wedding fair in London next month (I'll be there - armed with business cards) also how about contacting wedding fairs closer to you and asking to exhibit?

Hi Anne,

Thank you for your recommendation - funnily enough, I have already contacted Ruth before the post.

I received a sample this morning of her work - and it is extremely good and I only with I knew her before I tried to make my own wedding invites!!

You're welcome Kate! My friend might be in the market for some wedding invites! Not sure if she's bought them yet, but she'll be sending them out soon!

Great - well, if there is anything in particular she is after, I may be able to help as I am still adding lots of new items to the wedding section and some really unusual products too.
