We have two dogs: Mischief and Spot.
We've had Mischief since she was a pup. She almost died years ago when she found my son's asthma inhaler and punctured it while chewing it. Her tongue falls from one side of her mouth, the result of finding and chewing a battery (which burned her mouth badly). Warning: when choosing a name for a dog, be careful! They may live up to it.
We rescued Spot from the pound in December. He'd been a stray, at the pound for four weeks, and was about to be put down. He's the ugliest dog alive, but also the happiest. I've never seen a dog eat like him before; a neighbour suggested we call him Hoover.
I don't have any pictures - sorry.

Our Rocky is from a rescue centre, he was only 10 months old when we got him, he didn't like Mark much then, now they are best mates :D
He always comes to me for food and cuddles.

We have a Bichon Frise (tip: never get one - very, very naughty!) called Rubin. This is him sleeping on the office floor:

Amber, those are one of favorite sort of dogs. We went for a little dog, when we went to the centre, but came back with Rocky, he's the full length of my sofa

Looks like you made a good choice, Jayne :)
Bichons are great. We decided on that particular breed mainly because they don't shed hair (my mum is chief dog-sitter when we're away, and she's allergic to most pet hair, but not to Rubin), but they are really boisterous, playful dogs too - great fun!

I'm allergic to dogs and cats too, I take antihistamines each day anyway and seemed to do the trick. I could not live without a dog, the house would fell empty without one.
I had ferrets when I was young, but they don't half pong

I've never had a dog so don't know much about them. I've got a cat though and he makes me chuckle all the time.
I'm looking for another one at the moment, about the same size and colour. Then when they pop their clogs, I can tie their tails together and make a useful pair of furry oven gloves out of them

I like cats too, my Mam has one. We had a big fat cat when we were small, it was evil and bit your legs
Not sure i'd like Kitty oven gloves

We had two dogs, Muszen and Sasha.
I hope Arti doesn't take any offence to the name muszen, it's a Polish word for black, except a little stronger. If you get me?!
She was the smallest of her litter and was going to be tied up in a carrier bad and thrown into a canal because the owner didn't want her. Shocking how nasty some people are :(! She died about two years ago, something to do with her kidneys. Wouldn't eat or drink and in the end she had to be put down. She was 13.
Now Sasha was a little more of a handful. Well before I was born she ate a whole yard of Cadbury's chocolate - wrapper and all - and blew up like a balloon. She died two weeks after Muszen, I recon from a broken heart! She was 15 bless her!

We had a beautiful Basset Hound... but she was put down a few weeks ago. :(
My late mam called her after Lilly Savage, so she was called Lilly.
She was beautiful, lovely temprament... but she was ill toward the end. :(
