I have seen contradictions on this forum to whether or not they rank both names.
Its debateable whether the keyword in your domain aids your seo, when i look on the front pages of yahoo and google there often is keyword rich domains sittin on the first page listed around non key word rich domains, but there are lots of different factors that all help.
You couldn't really fit keywords in with claude-celeste.com or it would make it complicated to read.

I only registered one name with go daddy just so save a couple of quid :) but it does make you think about their security issues doesn't it.

Hi, We use www.gritbinsales.co.uk ---------to sell grit bins ( lots of hits )
and we use www.cleanergardens.com ------to sell garden maintance ( no hits )
So yes, as no one types in cleaner gardens to buy garden services
saying that now, i should be looking at changing the name cleaner gardens
Hope this helps

There may be a tiny adavantage is the keywords are used in the domain name but not if you are simply using a redirect. If you had the keywords 'french skin care' in the page title you would do far better however since very few people search for this exact phrase it's not really that useful.

Yes if it is an exact match of a term that you know people will search for, then it makes sense to have your domain name use those exact keywords. I have a few domains that work well in this way. I have no idea about redirects.

I always go for names that instantly say what you do etc.. maybe i am old fashioned but i still go with hyphens as well.
If you think about it and i am sure most agree here if we took some sample web addresses like i shall try and demonstrate below '
we are in london and looking for an accountant.. we see the list of options below ..
www peskeyandsgrandaughterlondon.co.uk
www accountants-London.co.uk
www smithanddaughters.co.uk
www smithsoflondon.co.uk
www jarvisbrooks.co.uk
Now in a list of domains the brain will pick out the immediate and number 2 with the only what i call proper name would be the one to click , it says exactly what i want and you can bet your mums pension , they will be exactly what you want , a accountant in London..
This is the school of thought i adopt , and i bet mr google thinks the same :)

I used to do a fair bit a SEO about 5 years ago. I found that if you have a domain that has your key words in it, it would rank better than a website without. However that was about 5 years ago so it may well have changed but i dont think it has.
Also as previousy mentioned if you have 2 domains, but 1 just redirects to the other, then the one which is redirecting will not get indexed so it doesnt matter.

Currently I have found the Yahoo algo gives more weight to domains that contain the search term in the URL.

The way key words in your domain name (or in the following directory/file names) can help is when your URL gets used as the clickable link text (as well as the actual linked to address of course). E.g.:
with key word in:
<a href="http://www.abcdefg-florists.com">www.abcdefg-florists.com</a>
without key word in:
<a href="http://www.abcdefg.com">www.abcdefg.com</a>
The first one the key word gets used as content, clickable anchor text content as well, therefore has value.
But if people did:
<a href="http://www.abcdefg.com">abcdefg florists</a>
it wouldn't make any difference but you can't rely on that always happening if you don't control it.
But also from a human perspective it makes sense. Just www.abcdefg.com appearing on a web page doesn't tell people anything -- which can happen. But www.abcdefg-florists.com would. Again, this is assuming the address is used as is on a web page as the clickable link text.

One or two keywords putting into your choiced domain is definitely a good idea. Don't forget if you've more keywords than one in your domain you need separate with "-" characters. It does the meaning of space for the Google.
Anyway the priority of the good search engine rankings in Google:
- Keywords are in domain
- Keywords are in the title tag of your HTML source code.
- Lot of incoming links
- Meta description and keyword tags (however Google does ignore the meta tags according to my experiences.
