Wehay!!! Had a moment when I couldn't get my primary and secondary monitors round the right way, mouse went off the right hand side of one monitor and appeared on the right hand side of the other. But, I have say, wish i'd done it months ago!!

Once you have gone dual, there is no going back!

I now struggle to work on just the one monitor :p

Definitely recommend trying out Ultramon (http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/) with your dual monitors

Have to agree, I use 2x 22" and high resolutions.

1 monitor is definitely last decade now :D

What a coincidence, I went dual today too!

Design manager upgraded to a dual 24 inch LED Cinema set, so I got his Dell hand downs :p

I actually find two machines works really well and upped my productivity no end.

May be doing different tasks from you and I have an L shaped desk.

Rebooting etc - get on with work on the other one.

Mentally the turn from one to the other helps also.

I tend to use one for email but happily swap what each is doing.

So what would you say the dual monitor set up is giving you that you did not have before

I had an nvidea graphics card, with the two plugs already in the PC unit (see my IT guy, he knows me well!), and it just plug and played on XP. Had a dappy minute though getting the monitors the right way round, and set primary and secondary.

I went from 2 PC's to just the one with dual setup last week.

Productivity has dropped slightly as i stitch huge images on it, and with the second PC I could then do emails and admin etc while this one was doing its stuff. But it is so much easier only having to worry about the one setup, it makes backing up, antivirus etc much easier!
