Hello everyone
I'm Tracey and work as part of Shed Dwellers promoting Virtual Administration to start-up and small businesses.
The beauty of Virtual Admin is not having to employ someone, pay NI, annual leave, sick pay etc or have to go through a recruitment agency, paying high commission.
The benefits are flexibility, i can work 24/7, you don't have to provide office space, IT equipment, training etc. So it frees up your time to concentrate on matters more urgent.
Please visit www.sheddwellers.com
Always happy to receive feedback or ideas.
Cheers
Tracey

Hi Tracey, the site says we, but I'm assuming it's just you?
I'm looking at doing some freelance typing and presentations etc to make up my part-time income. Do you outsource to others when it gets busy?

Funny you should say that, I once made friends with a local chauffer who would bring round 20 carrier bags of receipts to my house every few months or so and I used to sit and sort them all into date order and catagorise them for him. Used to take ages and he would give me £20. LOL

Hi Tracey
Welcome from another Virtual Assistant. It's great to see our "trade" expanding in the UK.

Welcome to the forum. A contact of mine runs http://www.freelanceofficeservices.co.uk/forums/index.php - you might find it useful in promoting your services and she often has jobs available too.
Take care,

Another VA on the forum. From feeling all alone, I'm now feeling as though the cavalry has arrived.
Nice to know.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Potentially a gold mine as there are tons of small businesses here, but many are family run and not too open to external help. Just have to keep on at it, finding different routes for marketing. It's a laugh. Sun's shining, birds are singing, sheep are loud.

Hey don't mock the sheep  I'm from Wales and know that if you spend a little more time with them they are quite nice animals that are only to offer any help you may need
BTW Welcome Tracey and as you can see we are a good bunch here.
Enjoy the weekend folks, what's left of it :D
Cheers
