Hi
Im looking for a PHP Buletin board. Used PHPbb in the past. Didnt support distributed admin like this one.
Does anybody know a forum package like this one?
Cheers

If a new forum, SMF is good to start with - vbulletin is more powerful and worth evolving into as the forum gets busier.

If you decide to customise it in the future I'd recommend Phorum, it's excellent.

Another vote for SMF, I use it for my forum (link in sig) there are lots of great mods for it too and more are added all the time, I wont be switching! and its easy to install. godaddy let you install it with one click if you host with them :)

I have been using MyBB (http://www.mybboard.net/) its a great bit of kit.
Easy to setup and customise. Loads of themes and mods available (all free)
I would suggest the Google SEO and reCAPTCHAII mods.

using PHPBB on this magento forum (http://www.magento-forum.co.uk/), mainly because there was an autoinstaller :)
does the job for now

Be careful with phpbb though - it's long been a major target for hackers, and six years ago even had a custom set of malware constructed specifically to crawl Google looking for phpbb forums to autohack:
