You need an eBay template, then you can paste the product information in the right place.

PM me if you would like a quote for a template with details about the kind of products you sell.

Do you have an ecommerce store and use eBay as an additional sales channel?

All you need is a programme such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage where you can set up your own page using html coding. Programmes such as Dreamweaver and Frontpage make it easy for you as it is similar to writing a letter in Word. Infact you can do a simple page using word, depend how tech you want to be.

PM if you want me to set something up for you as it should only take a few minutes.

Ask the web guy you keep promoting. Ebay templates are pretty easy

You know what - ebay must have changed again,
the last one I did was 12 months ago and a nightmare,
just wouldn't let me do the CSS,
I finally got it working but took forever to sort properly...

... needless to say I stay clear of them now, auctiva seems quite good from what some of my ebay customers tell me!

Good luck!

The safest way is to define the css as a style attribute with every element, it's just a bit of copy and pasting when you use an element many times such as <p> as you need to define the style each time.

I write mine in Notepad++, get them just right and save them. Then I just copy and paste the html in eBay.

Typically something like:

<div id="Container" style="width:100%">
<div id="Listing" style="width:800px; position:relative; margin:0 auto">
<!-- This now gives you a central 800 pixel wide column to work in -->
<p style="line-height:150%; font-family:verdana;font-size:16px">Paragraph 1</p>
<p style="line-height:150%; font-family:verdana;font-size:16px">Paragraph 2</p>
<p style="line-height:150%; font-family:verdana;font-size:16px">Paragraph 3</p>
</div>
</div>

You can use images and background images, borders etc.

If you have an eCommerce site I would normally recommend you use a similar design, especially if you want to move customers from eBay so they will recognise the site.
