Google always uses the default matching technique of 'broad match'.
This ensures that Google makes as much cash from you as possible.
'Broad match' runs your ad on all variations of your keywords, even those not precisely in your keyword match.
'Exact match' uses the exact keywords you specified.
example: luxury carpets. Someone typing in 'luxury carpets' would see you r add, but not 'inexpensive luxury carpets'.
A lot of people use ' phrase match'. When someone types in ' luxury carpets' your add will appear, like if they type in ' inexpensive luxury carpets', 'luxury carpets online', Yorkshire luxury carpets', etc.
The type of match you decide can be changed from the default 'broad match' to any by clicking on the keyword in the campaign section and changing accordingly.
