Hi what accounting software is best for a one man business? I cant choose between the two. Has anyone had experience with these apps?
Intuit Quickbooks simple start has good reviews and enough features but their support sounds terrible. Some of their software has been abandoned with banks droping the quicken version. Also the quicken version will not work under windows Xp with service pack 2.
Microsoft Money I know it works but the US has a basic business version and the UK has the older version. when it first came out it had bugs with the decimal point moving around.

I've never used the above 2
We use www.kashflow.com
Duane(member here) created it and I now use it for 2 businesses.
What do you want an accounts package to do for you?

I use Quick books, and thinks its an excellent piece of software.
The support, I've only needed to use once, and it was poor.
But on the whole I would recommend

I'd also reccomend Kashflow, you can try it free for 60 days, its very easy to use. I believe he is soon to introduce a monthly way to pay.

One word, two syllables... KashFlow (see ad on right!).
So easy-peasy to use even a PR chap with sausage fingers can handle it. :D
You pay a yearly fee, and you even get a discount if you go through this forum and there is a free testing period as well.
It has changed my life.... ok, so I can only go so far! :D
