Hi,

I'm hoping to move into PR training for small businesses this year and run some one-day basic PR skills courses.

However, there are already quite a few of these around.

so, I'm now thinking of running a 50/50 course with a few hours of PR and a few hours of something else small businesses would find useful. A sort of intensive 'run your own business' or 'expand your business' day.So now I'm doing some market research and I'd really appreciate any comments on the following, preferably e-mailed or PM'd over to me. Thanks very much! Fiona Bailey, Pebble Communications.

If any of these courses were offered near you, would you be interested? Would they be useful to you? Any other suggestions? Also, what would be the maximum you would pay for these courses? And what do you think a reasonable minimum would be? How far would you travel to attend?
a) 1 day on small business PR
b) 1/2 small busines PR + 1/2 day finance for non-financial people training by an accountant
c) small business day with 2 hours PR, 2 hours financial training (how to make sense of what your accountant tells you, basic legal requirements) 2 hours something else (what would you find useful: use of new media? recruiting your first staff? networking and communication skills?)
d) Small business day with choice of 2 workshops from maybe 4 topics (i.e. PR, finance, new media, networking and communication).
