Liam. Let's say you are 1.78m tall (which I think is about average), then according to your formula you weigh 0.15kg! :)
1.78^2 / w = 20.5
implies
w = 1.78^2 / 20.5 = 0.15 (to 2 decimal places)
You seriously need some pizza, pies, chips, etc. down you.

:?! Lol it worked the other day! My height would be 1.78.
1.78 x 1.78 = 3ish,
My weight's 60kg,
60kg divided by 3ish = 20!
Must've got the division the wrong way round :lol:!

Well now that's quite different, and thank goodness! "Height squared divided by weight" is a tad different from "weight divided by height squared". :)

And before any of you lovely rolly-poly ladies start to think about ditching the diet, Liam meant to quote the formula...
w / h^2 = BMI
where w is your weight, h^2 is your height squared, and I'm guessing that BMI is Body-Mass-Index.
Mine is 82 / 1.78^2 = 25.88. Is that bad? :?

Good lad Liam. It's nice to hear your tired after the first day of the week. That means you've been working hard. I hope you're working hard at your GCSE maths because it will be very useful for you. :)

I think 20 and under is underweight,
20-23 is 'desirable build'
24-30 is 'stocky'
and 30+ is just fat! :lol:!
