Guys
Been having a bit of a discussion with my partner and now I require some input from a third party, namely you guys.
We are looking to expand one leg of our business into micro niche areas and we have reached an impasse.
The two considerations are this
Should we go for a domain name relevant to each micro niche
Expand on our existing infrastructure with sub domains such as microniche1.mydomain
Any pro's and con's that I need to consider before I recommend a course of action?
Whilst using the sub domain route will keep costs at zero and remove the on cost of domain renewals etc, will it impact on the SERP's?
Will going down the domain name route have a negative impact to the above course of action as the established domain is 7 years old (hence bypassing google's SB) and the new ones will be, well new?
I thank you in advance for your opinions.
Regards
Daren
