So that we don't spoil the British Day thread, let us rejoice and enjoy some good ol' tool puns.

So, climb on the ladder and become constructive with your thinking

You've laid a good foundation for us to work with Tom.... I saw it coming and have started thinking about how to build from here...

It's hard all this thinking, having to chisel away for hour and hours, until you reach the spirit level you should be at.

I'm quite tiled this evening. Must be all this swearing. Good thing I didn't start it, as that'd be the final nail in the coffin.

Don't get all un-hinged about it, he's probably got a screw loose.

Jayne :D

You've really hammered home the point of this thread Jayne. You've really laid it on with a trowel...

(I've so missed these intelligent conversations....!)

Well, it's a good job I don't give a lumberjack

Jayne
15th January 2006, 20:56
Mac you're nuts, why would you want a lumberjack. He's not a tool, he may have one, but he's not one

Are you all nuts? I have not even read the thread so making a guess what it is about ;)

Jayne

It's Tool Time

You have to fix all the words to do with tools, into your answers. Yes we are all nuts, we'd be plane without our nuts.

Jayne

Lots of screw missing nutters in this thread...

Jayne

Hi Jacqui

It's your fault this thread, for pointing out spade attacks, then bolting off somewhere

We're just trying to drill the puns into the other forum members.

It was a wrench to find you were monkeying around having a thread about tools, and an irony too.

Personally I don't think you know whether your adze is punched, drilled or countersunk

You're AWL PUNCH drunk. I'll have to WRENCH myself away from this THREAD and FILE things away for the night.

Oh Heck. I missed this yesterday  I guess I shouldn't really tell you this, but I was grinding away all day. My wife has a passion for routing and I suppose that when offered the choice of some serious grinding, or firing blanks from my nail gun I obviously elected the former. I did enjoy her diamond tips though.

But alas, my friend Jack Hammer came around which made me blow a fuse. A peaceful Sunday, then Coitus Interuptus by a friend. He only wanted a few screws, so I gave him a handful and told him to have a riveting day.

By the time this was over my battery was flat, and i needed some re-charging. That's why I wasn't here yesterday

cheers, Nigel

Not bad on the useless scale! - you just bumped a TWO YEAR OLD THREAD just to make a stupid comment.

Um... welcome to the forum!

Why do they insist on bumping really old threads - why not post their nonsense in a recent one?

KM-Tiger

Because they are a tool?

chathura isn't even a new member, so maybe they are a bit of a spade to have dug this thread up.
