Hi everyone
Just wondering :
What business / entrepreneurs magazines do you read ? I noticed on a new one on the shelves last week called The Sharp Edge and was just wondering if anyone had any others to suggest.

I bought the Sharp Edge as it looked interesting in the shop and as though it would be full of information for entrepreneurs.
Don't waste your money on it! It's just about massively promoting Duncan Ballantyne (from Dragon's Den) and other companies that have paid for advertorial 'features'. I didn't find any really good editorial at all. I'm assuming it is a Duncan Ballantyne product.

Are you sure it is a Duncan Ballantyne product, Fiona? I wonder if Peter Jones is involved because he owns a publishing company.
I am yet to find a more down-to-earth small business magazine without being full of corporate-ish businesses. I am more interested to hear about the local plumber and his success in business - they deserve more publicity.

And don't forget the Bakers, they really do work hard :D

Funny you should mention this - this is exactly what YEM does - promotes small business rather than corporate business - features case studies/profiles etc and also info on business stuff - accountancy/law/marketing etc etc
There I go again with self-promotion

I would like sight of a free copy ;) when I get back to the UK in late Feb. I may be interested to be a contributor on legal matters. I also have a few press releases that could be included. One release due to come out regarding my case against the Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs, although related to the public sector, it can apply to the small business.
