Hi everyone.

I'm new here - my friend (and next door work neighbour, Gaz the Truffle Maker) suggested I say hello and that I would find some great advice on marketing and other areas on this site - he wasn't wrong. I'm sure it's going to be really useful.

My name is Pippa and I run a company called Dietary Needs Direct (DND) which I started four years ago as several members of my family have food allergies and we were finding it hard to find suitable products easily. I'm particularly interested in helping children on the Autistic Spectrum whose symptoms can be alleviated by following the GFCF (gluten and casein free) and SCD (specific carbohyrate) diet. However there are lots of things in my shop for a range of allergies and intolerances and I'm really enjoying trying to find new things all the time and learn more.

My website is www.dietaryneedsdirect.co.uk

I look forward to joining in with everybody here and learning

Bye for now
Pippa

Welcome!

It must be quite fulfilling to work for such a cause.

Hi Pippa

Welcome to the forums.

It seems that more and more people are suffering from food allergies these days.

Best of luck with it all and if there is anything I or anyone else here can do to help you then dont hesitate to ask.

Hi Pippa, welcome to UKBF.

Any suggestions for someone with serious Exzema?

Hi there
Might well use your site soon, my g/f gets migranes and stuff apparantly caused by what she eats (took years of different pills from a wonderful NHS doctor then she finally paid a nutritionist or something). She cant have msg'ss and other such technical things.
