I want to clear up a few issues that have arisen this week regarding myself and my company.
Firstly for those who think I am spamming the board, I do sincerely apologise and before I make any future posts I will be certain to place them in the appropriate category. The reason why I spend so much time marketing and talking to others is because the more I talk to people, the more I learn, the more I learn the more I can pass on to others and the more I can use in my own business. I speak to people from a range of industries and I am able to pass on great marketing ideas from one to another with small tweaks here and there.
My posts are not meant to be pitches for MK Printing. I do believe in long copy, admittedly sometimes they are a little bit too long. I am going to continue to post in the forums and I will try to reduce the length of my posts in future. This week I have received several negative comments, however to date I have over 200 e-mails of thanks from people on this forum and others so I shall continue to offer the services of marketing advice.
When I do speak to someone about their business, again it is not a sales pitch for my products. I offer genuine advice gathered from hours and hours of audio tapes, countless books on marketing and actual business experience. The people that have made the negative comments are all people who have not actually spoken to me directly, I am sure if they did they would have an altered opinion of me.
The other issue I wanted to clear up us how my business is structured. Yes I am associated with White Sparks but our businesses operate in different ways and they are just a supplier of mine. I am also taking on different suppliers and MK Printing is currently in the process of opening 6 more websites that will have no resemblances to White Sparks and will include different suppliers. We also offer a full design service that is totally independent to White Sparks.
So to clarify, I do apologise if people perceive me to be a spammer on the board and in future I will be more careful about how I structure my posts and the topics in which they are placed. I am genuinely trying to help people and if you have ever spoken to me I truly hope this is the perception that came across.
