I am playing about with the idea of a weekly podcast. I have been listening to some and some are really bad - some really good.

Does anyone else listen to podcasts - and what do you think makes a good one?

I'd hope so, otherwise she'll be sending them on CD.

I'd recommend talking for between 10-15 minutes maximum and offering precise information, but don't read a script and don't make it sound like you're telling us - you're helping us and making yourself look an expert in that field.

Gain as much feedback as possible and learn from what people want. And make sure you don't give away the best information at the beginning, but enough (such as a summary) to make them want to listen to the end.
