Would you publically post something about one of your clients on a forum?

Funny enough I'm just currently writing an article for Smashing Magazine called "Web design clients from hell" in which I'm interviewing a number of leading web designers about past clients that still give them nightmares
I was actually thinking of a follow up "Web designers from hell" as there are plenty of horror stories from that angle too

A few are on the clients from hell website. If I can help you out with the smashing magazine article, Id be happy to. PM me if you like.

they were seriousUnbelievable! :)
I was once 'told' to get an e-commerce website up and running within 48 hours. When I asked why it was needed so quickly, I was told "Because we have gone to print, the domain name is being published, and a magazine are running an article on us with our web address in two days time."
I told him we could get a first draft design and his brand online, with no feedback/changes, and he insisted we start. We only began work with an uncleared deposit as he came on recommendation. He bounced every cheque, and we didnt see a penny in the end.
I once spent nearly 2 hours discussing a very complex dating website, sporting plenty of social networking and custom facebook type functionality/features. He absolutely would not reveal, not even roughly speaking, what the available budget was. He did assure me repeatedly though, that money was no object. And at the end of the call, he announced that he had £1k to spend.
Had another similar call this year; Chap wanted a 5 minute animation "of the highest quality" to use as the launch pad for a high calibre presentation. He kept referencing the drama of Jurassic Park and the Matrix, both visually and in terms of sound effects, animation sequences and quality. He wanted to wow his audience. Time and again, he assured me money was no object, but would not tell me what budget the animation had to be kept within. Turns out he only had £1500 to spend.
We agreed to a 'much more basic' animation for his £1500. When I rang him the following week, I was told "Sorry, he no longer lives in this hostel" haha!
I also wasted half an hour once, chatting to a chap who wanted a basic but custom website. Turns out he wanted it for £30!!
Back in the old days, I too (like many others) had a customer ask, when installing his new computer, if the CD tray was a coffee cup holder!
