If you had to choose an ending for an online store that sells various things from gifts to books etc. which ending would you choose and why?
1. XXXXshop
2. XXXXmall
3. XXXmarket
Thanks

I don't think it has to have any of those in the title. Look at Amazon, no name of a shop there. If you get a good name then people will know you because of it and people are more likely to buy from a reliable source rather than what it is called.

Hi Wilfred
Matt is right, the brand as a whole is more important that just the name.
If you need a hand with this then just send me a PM and I will help you out.

Thanks. The first part is important though as I am targeting a segment. That's why i want that bit to stay. Like pinknews.co.uk, pinkmarket.co.uk etc. So, which of the endings would you go for?

shop to me is specific
market to me says multiple outlets and cheap - maybe not top quality
mall to be sounds American and with multiple outlets.
So my suggestion would be shop.

Or online e.g.
books-online.co.uk or whatever it is you are selling
That way people know it is an internet shop, what it is and it also sounds good.
