Just looking for some advice on the procedure for this. My brother setup a company last year with plans to trade later in the year, but thngs have changed so this isnt going to happen now

Company has never traded but has a return due, so what need done with that, is there a form he can send to say it has not done anything.

How would he go about closing it, its pointless having to do paperwork if its not needed.

If the company is dissolved before the annual return is due, you will not have to file it.

To dissolve download DS01 from the companies house website as per above posting.
you must ensure co name and reg no are correct and directors have completed address signed dated etc. ALso infrom HMRC.
