post count

how come there is no post count under the users name? It makes it a lot easier to spot the super spammers... eg

user name: Free Money
number of posts: 1

I think it'd make people compete more to post more. It could have a "newbie" option for those with less than 5 posts.

Just click the member's name; it'll bring up their profile and presto - number of posts :wink:

Post count was there until a few months ago. It was removed for exactly the reasons Tom says: people were posting pointless messages to increase their post count.

Since it was removed the 'pointless posting' has dropped quite a bit.

It does have the down side of making it a little more diffoicult to spot spammers - although the "joined" date is still displayed.
