I have PM'd Andrew and e-mailed but he's gone AWOL.
I've painted an Eeyore picture for him for his little sister, but I need to get hold of him to finalise payment and post it out before I go into hospital on Friday?
He doesn't seem to have a website/phone number listed anywhere, so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Claire

I personally think Andrew 2010 is fake, a time waster to the extreme. I would put Eeyore on Ebay if I was you.

He works for Centre parcs, he could be on shifts. I don't know which parc though.

You are too nice Claire. If I actually liked Eeyore I would buy it, but I don't, put it on Ebay.

Do you ask for a deposit, Claire? Some companies in my industry ask for a 100% deposit, whereas a 50% deposit is quite normal. No one invests that sort of money to not pay the final amount. It gives you control over the business.

How big is it and how much does he owe you?

Hi Claire,
Are you going to show us the picture?
A deposit may be a good idea in the future...

Hi Claire,
I agree with nicthechick....he's a blagger!
Don't let it get to you too much, especially as you're going into hospital, otherwise it'll only make you worse.
Maybe try and sort it out when you come out of hospital.
Best of luck for Friday.

You live and learn I guess.
In future use a contract and get full contact details etc - have a system that covers your arse and use it.
Seriously though, let me know via PM how much is owed and how big the picture is - I might be interested.

I have a large copy of MacMyDays avatar as the background on my PC.
The donkey would be for my little 'un.

Ok.....As you all know Disney pictures are not really my thing, neither is copying, but following my Tigger auction, Andrew asked if I could do an Eeyore for his little sisters birthday in February. Not one to turn down a bit of cash I quoted him a mere £23.50 + £2.50 postage. This didn't even cover my time, but thats what UKBF is all about. Helping each other out.
I always ask for a 25% deposit, but in this case I had the afternoon off and the canvas to hand so I e-mailed him just to confirm once again that he wanted it and e-mailed a paypal invoice, to which he replied. "Great, I'll pay it tonight when the wife gets in from shopping with our card".
So, now it's finished and I cant get hold of him.
Here it is

Claire I really really hope all goes well for you on Friday. Take Worm with you for company when you're alone in the bed. (Don't worry I don't want pictures of it to put on my website and mag, I'm not that shallow :D ) but take him as a reminder of everyone here all thinkking about you on that day and our thoughts will be with you.
Worm will put a smile on your face when you come out of the operation.
My fingers are also crossed (and so are my legs but that's because I need a pee  )
From the bottom of my heart I really do hope all the best for you Claire.

No luck selling Eeyore on Ebay. I hate scmmers, surely there is some way of stopping people signing up as more than one person on here?
What makes me even more annoyed is that he's probably watching these threads and laughing at me.
If your out there Andrew 2010 and have a soul, pay up and do the decent thing!

Hi Claire,
If they are done on Canvass, couldn't you just paint over them with a new abstract to sell?
Jayne :D

Yes I could, it's ony canvas board so it's not even expensive. The thing that gets me is the time frame, I gave up an entire afternoon and evening out of the goodness of my heart for a pleb!

Time wasters are annoying, had many when I iced cakes, you do get used to it after a bit. They don't bother me much now, i've had years of them

I have had my fair share of time wasters on here. I gave lengthy advice and done other work but did not get any thanks! When I give advice for free (that is payable elsewhere) I just ask for a testimonial. I will think twice about being too generous in future ;)

...And before you ask, no I don't have a toenail collection

No toenail collection Liam, yeah right...a growing lad like you ;)
Yes, its a piece of paper to state who gets what. Otherwise the Crown gets it all...the greedy b...britannia! ;)

How much do you charge for wills? Seriously I wrote one the other day, but it's not worth the paper it's written on!

I don't charge for wills...because I don't do them ;) It is the most boring area of law!
I would avoid the WHSmith versions or those online and get a solicitor to draft one for you and receive advice at the same time. Expect to pay around £70. Any less and they will be merely Will Drafters
