Even though the www.milliondollarhomepage.com seems a crazy idea, it just proves it works.

I was watching him on Richard & Judy today and it showed a full screen closeup on the homepage with lots of the company logos showing. It must be a worth while investment or 1million people wouldnt of bought his space.

It's also deffo gunna be internet history, i mean what a achivment. $100,000 dollars per month since august is pretty amazing for a guy of his age.

Hands down to Alex Tew, and the copies of his site will never achieve what he has.....

I can see his eBay auction rocketing to a lot of money, i deffo will be watching it!

Hang on a minute. You didn't quote any reliable information showing how successful the advertisers were after buying those pixels.

Did most of them make money out of their *investments*? Or were they duped into buying advertising which was always doomed to fail? I don't know for sure, but I suspect it was the latter, because which consumer in his/her right mind is going to search for a service which is contained somewhere within what looks like a mishy-mashy abstract painting?

The objective of "The Firm" is not just to maximise profits, but also to consider the welfare of the customer. It seems to me that this person has no intention of making a calculated effort to provide a service which is beneficial to his/her customers.

I have no problem with anybody making a quid, but when I see gluttony like this I feel sad.

Success should be measured primarily by the satisfaction which consumers express. The money which the firm receives in return for their products/services are merely a reflection of the consumer's satisfaction.

Sorry Dave,

I didnt post the testiomonials page where he has very happy customers with proof of significant increase in sales.

http://milliondollarhomepage.com/testimonials.php

He was honest from the word go that he wanted money for his Uni Fund.

I really wish him the best of luck, if the customers are happy and hes obviousley happy, so its an all round good thing!

. . . because which consumer in his/her right mind is going to search for a service which is contained somewhere within what looks like a mishy-mashy abstract painting?

Dave

Is 'Mishy mashy abstract painting' a derogatory term? Where's Claire?

Hmmm. Yes. Put my foot in it there didn't I?

Now let me see. How can I justify that description? Sorry - I can't.

Go ahead and use the title for one of your paintings Claire. Will you pay me some "money for nothing" like milliondollarhomepage?

If you do, buy your first baby something nice with it. :)
