from the UK now, when you visit google.com, it redirects you to .co.uk
do you use google.co.uk or do you prefer to go to google.com?

I use Safari, which has a built-in Google search bar and therefore always Google.com. If it offered the option of MSN, I'd probably use that instead

I nearly always .co.uk and whether I search just the UK or the whole world depends on what I am looking for.
The other day I searched for companies near me that hire out exhibition stand equipment, so I stuck to the UK only. If I am just searching for more general information or something I know is based abroad, I look at the world.

Depends on what I'm looking for really, as I look for stuff in the US quite often aswell as UK stuff.

Google has been country specific for 5 months now which is why you get redirected to Google.co.uk by default when you've typed in Google.com interestingly this isn't the case when you want to go to Google.fr or Google.de or any of the other Google country specific engines
I use Google.co.uk for most of my work.

I seem to stick with google.com, just trying to figure if I should worry about results in .co.uk a bit more.
What about Yahoo??
Again I generally use Yahoo.com...anyone else?

Well see i am sad, i use google so much it is the homepage on my browser, but that points to .co.uk.
Main reason being that many of my searches concern only uk sites. Hense i also google .com. for other seaches
now here is an interesting one for you, what if it is the us domain u want to search, or the .biz, , ,net
does google cover all these? Or Does it have a us version, SA version as well?
