Finance Companies ?

I'm looking for a finance company which would be willing to offer my customers credit terms.

I am offering child/family portraits at £120 per set.

I have done this in the past and averaged around 10 sales per week @ £90 per sale, but lost a lot of orders as I couldn't offer credit terms.

Where do your customers come from? I note that you are in Scotland so Scottish law will apply in your case. I am not sure on what Scottish law says about credit facilities.

I have come across small credit houses that offer finance for purchasing, say a sofa. You could source a similar credit house that offers a facility for your services. Since you are in Scotland I am not sure where to start

Your own bank is the obvious place to start and if they don't offer a suitable facility themselves they will often introduce you to an associate that does.

Another option worth considering is "block discounting" and a Google around will give you plenty of information complete with providers and specialist brokers.
