Hi,
as a tangent we are about to launch a comparison shoping site.
Payment will be CPC or % of sale.
Are you currently using any comparison sites, and if so which methods of payment do you prefer.
% of sale is by far the fairest of all in my opinion, but can be problematic when implementing with clients.

Crus - Tell us a bit about your comparison shoping site, im thinking about starting a web site selling a number of goods ranging from electricals and DVD movies to clothing and accessories.
So im interested to see how this thread progresses in regards to comparison shoping conversions. What are your planned CPC costs, and how will you be different to Kelkoo and other?

Hi knowledge,
The site is almost complete, however I am limited to what I can discuss as a JV.
An OUTSTANDING keyword domain has been aquired, a keyword that is extensively most other comparisson sites, so this should aid seo stratergy.
Otherwise, the data aquistion tools, db management and display code is 90% there. The backend stuff is about 50% and looking good.
Have benchmarched searchs on the code, and although some work will need to be done to speed up the queries, its acceptable.
PM me if you want to discuss further.
