New Website

Hi, just wondering if anyone has used wecreationuk for their website and could let me know how it went.

I've fixed lots of site built by webcreation. They outsource all their work and getting anything changed after delivery is expensive and very time consuming. In addition they will register the site in their name and are very reluctanct to release the source files. Even moving to a new host can cost you and arm and a leg.

And the don't even build very good websites.

My advice is to stay well away.

Same thing here. There not the best. Have had a huge number of sites come back to us where they just havent built a website correctly.

There are so many web companies/ digital agencies that outsource everything that they do and in return you get varying quality of work from them. Generally you can skip the middle man and outsource it yourself if you want to take a punt.

Personally I would stick to a company that does their own coding and understands all of the key things such as accessibility, usability and search engine optimisation.

Hi pjh, not had any dealings myself with them, but completely agree with the above. Make sure whoever you have at the other end of the phone can make alterations in-house. That way when you're ready to upgrade your site with more features you know it will be done quickly and easily rather than them having to locate the original creator and get a price to relay back to you.
