We have decided to go for a record attempt, not quite sure if we will make it but signs are good. I will be adding a Thank You page to my site along with a dairy for people to Read on the progress and growth of this unique venture. this should be available by monday at the latest so please revisit my site for further developements... thank you

Hi Chris.
It is an admirable quality to attempt to set and attain records. Your quest for this would be, in my view, markedly bolstered if you were to offer a special rate of, say, £10.00 to UKBF members for a space.
This would, of course, give your site a more 'accepted' feel by having a more complete page, and then naturally act as an incentive to attract others. I offer my committment and pledge my £10 right now!!

What is business if one doesn't take a few 'calculated' risks? If nothing happens I'm down £10, but I've supported a forum member. If it does work, I've got a 'prime' centre top of page location.
No different to being in the phone book. If no-one reads it we get no calls!
Ta for your concern and pointer to the other post though Claire. It's welcoming to know that we have 'friends' looking out for us - and I'm NOT being sarcastic this time!

The record attempt seems to be faltering somewhat. No new ads for a few days now. No sign of advertising guru Chris Edge on the forum. Good name, that, because I'm now on 'edge.'

there is currently no actual record for this type of thing so therefore i want to create one. it will be the biggest banner / logo site online and with no pixel restrictions like the pixel sites that keep popping up.
