Hi,

I am looking in to starting to sell online. There are lots of E-commerce packages out there but we sell B2B. Can anyone recommend a package specifically for B2B on-line sales?

It would be good if it could integrate to my Sage 50 accounts system.

Thanks,

Paddy

What do you think you need the package to do that isn't cover by the major offerings?

Three things I can think of:
- displaying prices without VAT
- volume discounts
- customer logins

Any more?

Most packages have some kind of B2B functionality..

namely the ability to group customers and display prices on a per customer group basis,

payment system that doesn't actually take payment (of course this is easy)

integration with accounts packages

what other functionality do you need that is specifcally B2B?

I'm just building a b2b wholesale portal at the moment.

Using Zen Cart with a purchase order module for payments....feeding straight into Kashflow accounting.

The customer uses the site to place the order - but for payments, they are invoiced.

One of the biggest headaches for the business is responding in a timely fashion to wholesale enquiries - many of which are timewasting. Instead they will be redirected to the wholesale site where they have to register (and then be approved) to browse & buy.
