Are there any owners of CTN/convenience stores on here.
I've just been offered the opportunity to buy some convenience stores at what I consider a low price but although I have experience in retailing I don't have specific knowledge of the news sector.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated

Stuart
I have sent you a PM.
I have sold a Convienience business in the past couple of years so any questions just fire away.

I deal with CTNs on a regular basis, and currently manage a (large CTN) store taking £75k a week.
I can't really give you any clues as to what this particular business would be worth, but if you have any questions about the newstrade or any aspect of CTN retailing you are more than welcome to PM or email me.

Stuart,
I can do you a valuation on the business to make sure it is under-valued. I am prepared to do this for no charge if you want to PM me the details, provided it is just for your personal use and not released to any third party, or used as part of the negotiation.
I owned 2 CTN shops for several years in the 80's. I ran them as a side line fully staffed just as a way of making money to my core business.
I now buy and sell quite a few businesses for clients at least 1 or 2 a month. I also have investors that are always looking to invest into the right type of business.
Gary.

CTN Is confectionery tobacco news. sometimes also referred to as convenience tobacco news depending on who you talk to.
Having got more info it may be that I will go for only one of the stores.
