I know I cant sell them now (due to the painting being a copy) but I thought I'd show you how cool my frogs would look on a mug.

Before I found out the image was a copy (thanks again sillyjokes for saving me from a law suit) I ordered a sample and it arrived today. I nearly cried as I love it soo much! Still it's pride of place in my display cabinet and who knows one day it could be worth a fortune!

this is just a thought, but have you considered asking permission to sell them?

I wouldn't be that cheeky. I directly copied another artists work. If someone had done that to me I would have been really annoyed

But couldnt you say something like - "I really like your work [insert brown nosing here] , and would love to use your frogs, etc etc"

Or better still - you could look into a mirror and say, "I am an artist!" repeatedly until you paint yourself a frog!

Failing that - just photograph one and photoshop it!
