Just thought I'd share in my glee, not only is it my birthday, but an interior designer who ordered a commission from me has just been round to collect her painting and left with 7 of my other pieces!!!
Including Luscious (sorry Nic)
Time to update the shop now as I'm selling out fast. Tate Gallery here I come!!

That's fantastic news Claire!
And, Happy Birthday! :D
Maybe it's time to increase the prices of your originals and start selling limited edition prints from the originals. There is certainly plenty of scope.

Funny you should say that carol, until I sold the actual paintings I was offering prints!
I'm going to get one or two pictures done over the next few weeks and make sure I scan them before selling them. Once I get my merchandise sorted as well I will have a shop for Claire Mackaness Products as well as the art work.

That's absolutely fantastic Claire. Good for you! Keep up the good work - and a lesson to us all, keep believing in yourself.
Can I use you as my claim to fame from now on? "Once, I nearly bought a canvas for Claire Mackaness to paint on..."

Ironic you mention that. I've just painted 11 litres of Forest Green on a job over the last couple of days.
Must admit it appeaed very similar to 'strungout.' I nearly signed and dated each panel 8)
Cheers, Nigel

The sales person cancelled her appointment by e-mail which I didn't get until after I'd sat in for half a day waiting for her!
