Hi,

I am currently raising money for the Challenge World Wide registered charity and have been keping busy qwith this. I have since contacted a local school asking if they would hold a non school uniform day. So 1000 students at £1 a head. Not too bad. They have rejected this as they do not do school uniform days, they have however said that they would like to help and if i can think of any other ideas then they would like to assist me. The trouble is, i really can't think of anything i can get the school involved with that would have no expense or would not cause the school too much problems.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

try using the internet... ask the school to put on a show or use the school hall for it, and then sell tickets and that way youll be raising the money directly, and all the school would need to do is let out the hall...

Many thanks for this great feedback. In total i am trying to raise £3,500 for the chairty, so the school involvment is just one of the things i am looking at. I have a meting on Friday with the School and hope to be able to propose some ideas of how they can help, this will be one of the things i will mention. I live in Glasgow and will be holding a Fundraising Ceilidh in Hampden park (Scotlands National football stadium) on the 12th of March, so am also currently trying to get prize donations from organisations in order to sell raffle tickets and hold auctions.
