My web business is all set up and running and I have a marketing strategy in place so there is very little further investment needed.

I would be willing to be involved or just to invest money. As for returns I would obviously expect to get back more money than I put in but the exact amount would be open to discussionl.

How can it all be set up you are still displaying your old site and you have asked dozens of times for someone to redo it and it hasn't changed?
Are you wanting to get out of web design and maybe have a go at something else?

Hello there
I have always wanted to get into importing!!
As I work as a buyer I have goods contacts at shipping companies and abroad etc
People make millions importing stock and selling on ebay!
I have used ebay for many years and I know that If I had the money to invest in bringing a container of goods into the country then I could triple my money with one container load
Would you consider investing in something like this??
You cant loose as you are buying stock so what ever happens you can sell the stock and get your money back!
Let me know if you would like more info
Thanks

TechFox > Did you get my email?
I can import anything
I have looked into it in great detail...................
The best thing to do is to import things that are selling quickly on ebay at any one time like quad bikes
Which I already have a few great suppliers for
Road legal ones over here sell for over 1000 and I could import them for under half that!!
Let me know if you need anymore info
Thanks

Can you tell me a few things you can import with prices and mark-up etc. Would you consider investment to get this going. You say you already have a full time job and are thinking of importing as an evening job. I would be able to work on this full time if you could supply the importing details. We could both invest something into it to get started. I would also put alot of work into it to get it making good money. PM me if you are interested in discussing this further.

TechFox,
You are advertising a business opportunity on your website for £400 to make £50,000 per year why not do your own scheme?
Secondly what skills do you have or experience to contribute to a business as well as the 10K.
I buy and sell businesses, as well as dressing companies for sale but most clients are looking for more than 10K when it comes to investment in their businesses.
I am working on a couple of things at the moment one of which may not even require money, but time and skills.
What geograpphical area can you operate in?

TechFox,
I'd recommend you ask to see the Business Plan of any business you intend to invest in. And if the Business Plans are not in a fit state to do justice to the businesses, I can help improve them.

Hi Mike,
The size of investment will be around $25k - $30K. This will be used for promotion and maintainance of our website. I have already given the website development to a third party company.

Mike,
I used to work in a Venture Capital company which, essentially, did this - whereas most companies buy and sell products or services, VC companies buy and sell companies. It's high risk, but the rewards can be huge. There is a higher proportion of paper millionaires in my former employer than in any other company in the UK. Sadly, I'm not one of them. However, I did gain many insights into how they manage the investment risks. Please PM me if you're interested in exploring the possibility of establishing an investment company along these lines.

Hi Mike,
The profit iam calculating will be huge. The job market in india is exponential and we can explore and exploit the oppurtunities here. The job portal website is only the begining. The marketing strategies to market the website as a product will make it a big business. Please donot underestimate the job portal concept by seeing the small investment of $30k. We can use this investment for the marketing of the product. I am sure we can make it big like monster.com

Pradeep

Here's a speculative post...
I want to start a Property Investment Club, with a specific view to new build in the South & South West, where some areas still enjoy a healthy property market.
I have £25K equity in my property which I'm prepared to risk, how many others would like to get a foot into property development without excessive risk?
I'm thinkng that 10 to 20 individual investors with £25K each, with goal to achieve at least 20% return within 15 months of start on site.
I'm looking at two opportunties, a site with PP for 4 x 3 bedroom holiday homes and a 3 bedroom managers house and a site with PP for a retail unit and 8 x 1 bedroom flats.
Completed value would be around £1 million for each and expected purchase and build costs less than £500K.
Any thoughts welcomed....

Paul,
I have done a degree that's correct. It does not mean I cannot think of setting up a business.
Cant one be employed and self employed? Cant even think or plan for future??
What I have in mind is something that is already up and running in a different place but I don't own it and therefore I wanted to start something similar..
Trust that clarifies
Btw,are you into lending?

If you invested £10 000 in a scheme that worked on a return like that, you'd be looking at walking away with £1.25m...Now that would be impressive!
