View Full Version : A Question Please

I have a quick question if I may.

I wish to advertise on a very specialised section of a fairly high-profile site.

They have told me that companies in this section currently receive about 200 click-throughs a month. Whilst this may sound small, if they are genuine leads and each click is from an individual person (not just one person clicking 50 times) then this is an excellent number of potential customers for my sector.

My question is, what questions should I be asking to ensure that these click throughs are geniune and individual? Are there any other questions I should ask when considering this kind of advertising

Many thanks

Trev

Speak to Sillyjokes.

They just tried this.

I would have a tailored landing page with a specific offer that will be a total no-brainer to go for (this would be your most wanted response)

Then have a backup-response for them to make if they don't want to buy - get them to sign up for your newsletter.

Click throughs are hard to trace and you can't stop people doing them. What is it that you are promoting? If it is that specialised then click throughs are probably not the best way to go anyway.

We are a property search and aquisition company (Home Finders) specialising in the London Market and properties over £500,000 in value

The website is PrimeLocation (recently featured on TV ads) in their "London Search Agents" section. Currently this small directory only has a handful of other advertisers. Obviously with only needing 1 successful client to gain a profit of £7500+ then I felt it might be something worth looking at

Cheers
