Hi.
I would be very grateful for feedback on a leaflet i propose to use to advertise my business.
There are 2 versions of the front and one of the back. It would be good to see which front cover you all prefer, with comments on either, and for your feedback on the reverse of the leaflet. The JPEGS are here:
http://thekitchendesigner.blogspot.com/
The logo is new and will match the new website when released.
So that you can guage the format - i will have these printed A5 in size, on 300 gsm glossy card, and they will be sent to selected clients with a letter.
Please PM me or post here with any comments you have on these designs, it will all be appreciated.
Happy new year to all,
Mark

Are you fitting kitchens for space craft?
Nice graphics but that's what those leaflets made me think if i'm honest.

I would go for option 2, I think both are excellent and very striking. I spotted a couple of typos on the back page, I will PM you

Kitchens for space craft, now theres an idea!
Interesting initial reaction there. I wanted it to stand out and be a little different, so that could be working!
Thanks for the PM guy, all noted.

Front Option 2 looks good - although as your message is to 'stand out from the crowd' I'd recommend only having one of the figures being different from the rest ... First guy has hat & tie, second - no tie, glasses, bag at front, third - glasses, red tie, no hat, fourth - etc. etc. ... try having your creative people making it so that all of them - except the one that you want to stand out - look the same (hat, tie, case - for .e.g)
Concept though is good (if not 100% unique!)

Hi David & 'hedgehog0045'
Thanks for your comments.
David - the image on option 2 isnt changeable, but i know the company that produces them can do customs, so this may be an option to achieve that. did the red tie stand out at all on option 2?
Cheers,
Mark

The leaflets were ok, but nothing to do with kitchens. If they came through my door I wouldn't look at them, but if they had a really nice kitchen picture I would have a good look.
This is from a woman's point of view, I love looking at new house things and always chuck the boring looking junk mail away. These leaflets look like insurance or bank stuff.
It's like saying to woman, take a look at my shoe catalogue and when you open it there's nothing there, very disappointing, I like to see the goods on offer.
They are nice leaflets though, just not for a beautiful kitchen designer, supplier and fitter as yourself :D

Hi Jayne,
Many thanks for your feedback.
"a beautiful kitchen designer" !! :D
The leaflets are going to other kitchen businesses and not direct to the public. The services are B2B, providing design services to businesses.
i've seen plenty of advertising B2B within kitchens with lots of kitchen pics, but wanted to try something different.
Many thanks for replying, and i shall bare these comments in mind as i will be doing a 'public' site sometime in the future.

He did stand out some ... he was the first one I looked at ... but I'd definitely see if you can get a reasonably priced custom version. The guy with the case in front of him really breaks the line up ... that case gives a big horizontal line, perpendicular to the main 'vertical' feel of the people themselves. As such, it is distracting and takes away from the red tie guy.
Hope this helps,
David

Like the flyer design but not for kitchens. Im afraid i wouldnt even look at flyer as the first thing i see is "stand out from the crowd" So id think nothing i need. Need to make it more to do with kitchens.

Hi Shelley,
Do remember that the flyer is for B2B services and would be mailed to showrooms/studios, as opposed to the general public seeing it. The emphasis on the flyer is to promote a business service, and to draw businesses to the website.
Cheers,
Mark

I like the flyer in that respect.
Have spent ages trying to get mine right(i know its different) but have listened to so many points. This is a good way of doing it.
