Website needs revamp - comments please [Archive]

Hi

I'm thinking that our website needs a good overhall as it's been a bit neglated for a while so I'm looking for some helpful comments that would lead to more enquiries.

I actually rather like it - nice and clean.

A few comments I could make:

The request a quote page is really sparse, and could do with an intro paragraph
There is a legal requirement to add your company registration address and number somewhere obvious
The stones image looks a little washed out
The Company page could do with more information (possible sub pages) giving details about staff qualifications, skill sets, etc
Copyright line says 2008 - worth updating so people know the site is live!
Avoid double exclamation marks!!
From an SEO point of view, you may want to include your location (or the main locations you cover) on the home page

Hi,

If the website is working for you, why try to fix it?

I would look at updating industry information etc as google likes new content & your industry is full of new updates, I would also look at better images, as when you land on the site it does not shout what you do, if I landed on it I would not be instantly captured, and would maybe leave.

I like the fact your site has a clean layout, but would just consider the above.
