Google Webmaster Tools - Problem

Hi Guys

When i am logged into Google's webmaster tools, I select one of my domains and click Site Configuration > Change Settings > Preferred Domain > Display URL's as www.domain.co.uk (http://www.domain.co.uk)

When I submit it keeps saying...

Part of the process of setting a preferred domain is to verify that you own http://domain.co.uk/. Please verify http://domain.co.uk/

The domain is verified, I added the code and verification was accepted, this is the same situation for about 10 of my domains.

Any ideas?

Maybe a temporary problem as Google's end? How long has it been doing that for?

Can Google see the verification file on both the www and non-www versions of your site?

Hi,
I've had this quite a bit. It's very annoying.
I can't actually remember what i do to sort this out. I think it resolves itself after clicking around and logging in and out a bit.
