E....n made it very difficult to cancel their machine which we had ceased to use.
We sent a letter on the 26 October requesting cancellation and removal of the machine, we phoned various numbers regularly and sent letters and faxes. On every occasion they denied any previouis communication. Rental and service bills continued. Finally on the 4th of January following hourly calls to the accounts department an individual was found who suggested a department for cancellation.
The machine was removed in January but now we have "A Letter Before Action" requesting payment for charges up 4th of January. The letter incorporates the sinister statememt that ""this may affect your ability to obtain credit in the future"
Probably our difficulties were due to their incompetence and the multinational nature of their business; or but could it really be a matter of policy.
