Hi,

As a newbie, I'd better introduce myself.

I'm Mark Whitehead and I've recently started Bellcurve Consulting, a quality systems and control consultancy.

After 19½ years with my last employer, I'm starting to enjoy the freedom of sailing my own boat - though I'm sure that sometimes I'll miss the "security blanket".

ANYWAY, welcome to the forums! I'm the life and soul of the party :D! If you need anything, give me a shout!

Hi Mark

Welcome by the way. Could you give more info on what you do, there isn't a web link on your profile.

Cheers

Nic

 When I first sailed the boom always hit me on the head when sailing a dinghy. I prefer yachts, much more fun and less prone to being knocked on the head unless in very rough weather. I am sometimes on a yacht that has 23 people on board! Its fun! ... even time to open a bottle of Mumm

Where is the 'and'.... ah..you implied!...;) Anyway, the drinking helps with the tacking!!

Also, a mechanic never fixes his own car...same for lawyers...they never follow the law!!

Nigel, only oars...save a bit and you can get the boat to go with it, or recycle your old bath tub! ;)
