What was the worst present you received this Christmas?

Mine was a copy of the Gazza Autobiography. WTF. It pains me that my mother gives her hard-earner cash to that f**kwit. I can't even be bothered to put it on eBay.

Hi,

You should have been crafty like me, I told them all to give me money as their was something I wanted to buy myself and needed to put everyones money together to buy it

I didn't want anything really, just beats getting rubbish gifts

I specifically told my Mum not to buy me DVDs or CDs - so she buys me book instead. Bonkers!

Jayne, I can't believe you'd dupe your own friends and family for cash!!!

I got a 'grow your own one kilo tomato'.

Why? When my husband knows I kill anything horticultural?

Can I buy as many of those cabaret canlesticks as you have in stock and can I pop in tomorrow to collect them before the price goes up.

They are the cheapest silver candlesticks that I have ever seen :D :D :D :D

HA HA HA Alpha. This is something I will be rectifying shortly, meeting with new designer tomorrow - try viewing in IE.

ps. I take it you're not suggesting my candlesticks would be the worst present ever . . . .

I could be offended by these remarks you know  .

Jayne - I don't like tomatoes, or any other salad. My husband knows it, my sister knows it (she bought me some truffle paste to add to mayo on my salad :? ), everyone and his wife knows I hate salad. The present also contained pumpkin seeds - to grow . . . .

I'm not suggesting that you're candlesticks are the worst christmas present ever.........far from it but at that price they are too good to pass up :)

I'm often at a clients premises in Newhall street which is just up the road from you so I could collect quite easily.

Alpha - at the rrp, they're still too good to pass!!!

Jayne - although they smell awful, pumpkins are great for carving - can't guarantee mine would grow big enough, or live long enough to be carved though

For the simple reason, nothing i ever buy for anyone is right.

Two pressies i bought my wife are now pressies for ppls b days this year (no she did not like them)

Nephews clothes i bought are too small, lost recipt, yep their off to oxfam.

On my side of the family we have a very simple agreement for Christmas......only the children get presents (and my parents get small presents from mine and my brothers children)

The reason is that when we want something we normally buy it anyway so come Christmas its odds on that we have bought it anyway. by not giving and receiving presents it means that there are no unwanted presents or the other side of the coin we didnt have to wrap up something that we bought ourselves and wait until christmas to use it pretending that it was from someone else.

Bah Humbug Scrooge is alive and well

I'd really like to stop buying so many presents and donate the money I'd usually spend (close on to £2k), to a charity.

I don't know how my friends, children and family would like it though. I might be brave and raise the subject! :D
