No.

Search for them.
Your analytics tools will tell you what people searched for to find you.

if they are links which take people from your website to another website then they are outbound links. Even so, Google doesn't like broken links so getting them fixed will do more good then harm, but probably won't affect your SERPS listing.

by broken links you mean links that are not live, what are SERPS?

SERPs are Search Engine Ranking Pages or Search Engine Results Pages.
What you are looking for is inbound links - links from other relavent websites to your own web pages. These are the links that will improve your ranking positions (if sourced and implemented correctly)
Out bound links (links from your web pages to other websites) will not help your ranking positions.
What exactly do you mean by you have other web addresses?

well my website is like an online directory of all aesthetic practitioners in the Uk, so that means surgeon, cosmetic dentists, laser clinics etc, one of the benefits of a membership to goodsurgeonguide.com is that you can have a live link to your website from ours, although we do list your webs address it is not live so I was thinking if it helps with my ranking I will make it live

It will help their ranking but not yours.
On the other hand, if each directory listing had some blurb, was tagged, sorted and categorised along with full contact details, your directory would become more authorative and may well benefit from improved ranking.
The links on their own however won't do a thing for you.
<edit>Just hasd a look at your site - the links are live already</edit>

Graham is correct.
Creating out going links only weakens you ranking.
Dead links are a very bad thing to have on a website
