i am lookign for a new phone, biggest concern is replying timely to customer service emails for online business while on the move and also surfing the web.

i prefer qwerty keyboard so the iphone is out as i hate typing on it. i had a g1 but it broke and that wasn't bad for typing.

anyone here have a recommendation?

something from the blackberry family sounds suitable, or maybe consider getting a 7 inch net book with built in internet or something.

bb sounds good for emailing but not so good for surfing, at least the ones with a physical keyboard anyway. i have the net book too but not as mobile as id like to be!

Are you time restricted when you reply to emails. If so, could you get into a long exchange with a [potential] customer?

I wonder if a VA solution might be better and outsource standard queries to someone else, leaving you to concentrate on your business.

Have a look at the HTC HD2 if you can get your hands on one, it's an unbelievable piece of kit.

Not perfect yet in any way so don't get it you just want something like an iphone but if you want a mobile device with a 4" screen and brilliant 800 x 480 display that is incredibly fast and customisable in hundreds of ways then this could be the phone for you.

It doesn't have a physical keyboard but don't let that put you off as the screen keyboard is more than useable and if you don't like that there are plenty of others to download.

As it's a windows mobile it has mobile outlook built in or you you can use HTC messaging.

I run my business using SugarCRM which I can now access and work on full screen while sat in the car just by using the built in web browser.

I was one of the lucky ones that managed to get it on Vodafone on a package deal.

£35 per months for 900 minutes + unlimited texts + unlimited land line calls + unlimited data usage.

If you'd like to know any more about it then PM me.

I recommend going either for a Blackberry(8900/9700) or Nokia E72, I could do a deal such as;

1,000 minutes any network any time(inc calls to Europe, USA & Canada)
Unlimited landlines
Unlimited texts
Unlimited internet & e-mail

For approx £25-£29 per month dependen on handset and a £25 credit after 3 months.
