Here are six reasons why we should end the debate:
1) I don't want to bore people to death.
2) We're beginning to rehash the same arguments over and over.
3) Little new information is coming to light.
4) No one is going to change their opinions on the subject.
5) I don't want to upset anyone.
6) I need to spend more time at work.
On the other hand, you are welcome to suggest that we continue on.

I've voted, but this should be a locked thread or the 'debate' may spill into here!

Evolution or Intelligent Design?
It's a while since we had the last debate.
Anyway the answer is Evolution, I find it shocking that the actually teach ID in some schools in the US
Top Hat gave us the answer in the first post. What's there to debate? ;)
Truthful answer: yes, because of points 2, 3 and 4

OK - the vote is 5 to 2 to end the debate. I hereby promise not to participate any more. My lack of response does not indicate my unwillingness to answer questions but my willingness to bring the proceeding to a graceful end.
Thanks to the many good and smart people who contributed arguments in support of both views. Hopefully, we're all a little wiser on the subject.

And you're a programmer? Now where was that post where you said, 'I don't make mistakes.'?
