Yikes. Poor guy. Hopefully something easily solved, especially as it appears to be a host issue.

Not really good form to highlight this in public to be honest...

I am highlighting it because the guy may not know his site down

Mark is sorting it, his web master forgotten to move him from his USA server to the UK hosting. It is being sorted apparently.

That is a standard CPanel suspended page that is shown when either an account is suspended manually or when an account goes over their bandwidth quota.

It can be misleading saying "please contact billing" as that tends to make people think it is because bills have not been paid when more often than not it is something else.

i know whats happened, i think he was changing his server to be UK based, but something went wrong. i also think he said there was something with the design, but not quite sure.

so need to panic i think it will be back up soon.

Can he not create a bespoke page instead of using the standard ones?

I know I have that option, just dont know how LOL

What a rotten, shitty message to throw up. Why can't they just say "temporarily unavailable" or something?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the concern.

Without going into too much detail its a simple change of hosting that has not been carried out properly by someone who is doing it for me.

I had planned to move to MATRIXX Hosting with our good friend Rob from here.

Everything from Matrixx hosting side has been set in place and Rob has done more then required in assisting me.

It seems the other US host account has now expired and the actual DNS has not been forwarded to the new hosting.

Bit of a headache but I am working on it and we should be back online within an hour or 2 (hopefully)

Thanks for those who messaged me to inform me that there was a problem :-)

How typical...

On the day I am trying to unlock my domains with godaddy they are taking forever... :-(

Normally they are more or less instant.

Been over 2 hours and they are still 'Pending Modification!'

All as I need to do is change the DNS

looks like you are back running again :D

Yes, All up and running again...

It may take 12-24 hours for the site to fully propagate, but at least we are back trading :-)

Lets hope we dont have anything like that happen again anytime soon.

two things- I'm not sure I like affiliate links in people's signatures on this forum - it makes me feel uneasy and also now Mark will have to pay commission to that affiliate when really the affiliate has done nothing extra to earn it.

second thing, Mark - Audio Welcome - are you barking mad? I've never heard it before but man oh man did I ever clear off your site quick. My duaghter listens to music loud on the PC and it nearly made me cack my pants.

Glad the site problems are sorted.

Hi Caroline,

A few people have said that to me over the last few days.

I am going to make it so its silent and when cplay is clicked it starts.

When you first visit our site, do you think the message is delivered well enough to show people how we are different?

ink4-u

i think its good, but it says Thanks for shopping with us. Thats before you decide to

MarkPearson

The voice over really does bring mixed some people like it, some people loath it.

Personally I like it and think it best discribes our product and what we do that is different, but I do see the intrusive side that can be negative.

to be honest with you i love it i think it makes the site sound good and is great for your business im sure. but it says thanks for shopping with us, and i was sat there thinking what i dont remember buying anything

MinuWeb

Thanks Crus :-)

Don't get that problem with a high street shop im sure!

"Thanks for shopping with us" - I think is a positive phrase to end the intro....after all if they are still listening they must be a little interested in what we have to offer - but i do see your point.
