Hey guys, I'm just doing some research into site performance applications and wondering if you use/recommend any.

They can be both web and desktop based.

Thanks.

For frontend or backend?

I presume you mean frontend.

Well there are the two Firebug addons YSlow and Google's Page Speed

If you are using the Chrome browser then there is the Speed Tracer extension

Web sites are Pingdom and Web Page Analyzer

I have just used webtestpage and have come up with the following result:
webpagetest.org/result/111119_CS_27XBB/
Can anyone help me analyse this as I haven't a clue what any of this means. I am not technical and there seems to be a lot of warnings and failed signs.

Please can someone give me some simple advice?
