Please help! I'm preparing a cashflow forecast, but financials are not my strong point, and I'm confused by a few of the terms. Could anyone please explain to me what the following terms mean, and what formula I need to complete in Excel to work out each?

monthly working capital
cumulative working capital
monthly cash inflow (outflow)
monthly cash outflow (inflow)

If anyone could help me, I would be eternally grateful!

Many thanks!

LMcKee.

In simple terms

Monthly working capital - the amount of money per month you have left after receiving payments and paying bills.

Cumulative working capital - amount added or deducted each month to the monthly total showing total amount of money available.

Monthly cash inflow (outflow) - inflow = amount of money coming in (outflow) = amount of money going out. Figures in brackets are negatives from a positive.
