Hi,

I am about to do a direct mail campaign and I downloaded an excel spreadsheet with 976 businesses name and address etc from a website.

Does anyone know where else to get more names and addresses free of charge?

It is easy to look in the chanber of commerce site or something but to type them into a format for mail merge would take for ever.

I would need xls, csv etc.

I used to have UKInfo disk which I could export from but I put it in drive yesterday and it wont bring ANY results. I think it must have had a time limit on it or something because it not scratched.

So anyone know any source for free data in nice format?

Hi,

I cant help you I'm afraid, but could you please let me know where you got your 976 names from? I am doing a similar mailshot soon (same market actually...) and would like names and addresses rather than going through yellow pages. I'm not in your area by the way so no fear of giving ideas away to the competition!

Wow, I wouldn't want to copy and paste 1000 names and addresses from yell to my spreadsheet.. or have I missed something?

Hey there,

How do you extract email addresses, postal addresses from websites like Yell.com to save on an excel spreadsheet?
