Hmmm try Spybot Search and Destroy.
Put that in Google and download that
it should sort your problem.
Or Microsoft Antispyware, good too.

Right, try this.
Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>And then tell me what it says under homepage.
Post it back here.
I should be charging for my assistance at this time of the night! :D

So when you open up the internet, does it go to www.yahoo.com? Or to some adult site?
If it still goes to yahoo.com, try clicking on Add or Remove software in the control panel. Then try and find the program that's installed itself. Be careful not to delete anything accidently though.

how can i uninstall Internet exploror ?
It looks like you are now in the position of locking the door after the horse has bolted.
There is not a magic bullet that will solve this, and don't believe anyone that says there is. A good plan of action would be:-
Install Antivirus and run it.
Use any or all of the online virus tools, which might find something that your AV misses.
Install a number of spyware tools, eg Spybot, Adaware, M$.
Then deal with what sounds like a browser hijack. Type "hijack" into Google and you wil get links to toolbar removal tools.
Some other useful resources:-
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/ie.html
for problems with IE, including hijacks.
http://securitytango.com/
for a good procedure to follow, once you've got it sorted.
Good luck!

Do you really need anti-virus for email? Only open emails from people you know and trust. Simple.

Most antivirus scans emails anyway, but in answer to that question, I'd say yes, what if the person you know and trust has a virus?
Urban Space

True, but then where would be the fun in fighting it? :D!
And surely if the friend's system is healthy enough to send emails, the virus itself can't be that bad!

ANY virus is bad, if it takes only an hour to manually remove, then you've still lost an hours production, and if you anrt able to remove it yourself, you then need to pay someone to do it. Just because a system can send emails, doesnt mean its a healthy system.

Are they all from the same person ? Im not sure about free antispam software but there are quite a few available to buy. If you are using outlook or outlook express, you can filter prety well using blocked senders list and message rules.
